Increase the speed or transfer rate of a Pendrive

There are many questions i heard that How to increase the speed or transfer rate of a pen drive [Basically a Flash Drive], thumb drive. You can use a special program Tools packages for measuring your drive’s speed. Fragmentation may not affect at all on the speed of USB drives. Transfer rate is also depend upon the capacity of your USB Pendrive and the Brand. The speed of Your pen drive can be increased more than two times by the following simple methods:

Trick 1: To increase your data transferring speed on your pen drive you will have to install your USB drivers or chipset driver for your motherboard!! Please use your motherboard driver CD to do it .!!

Trick 2: By enabling this tweak, the write caching option in windows will be enabled
*Plugin your USB Drive.
*Then Open My Computer> right-click on your USB Drive >click Properties.
*Select your USB drive Under Hardwares and choose Properties.
*You will see a dialog box saying " Optimize for quick removal".This option is selected by default.
*Select "optimize for performance" then click OK
*After doing the Above, format your pen drive with NTFS file system simply by selecting format option in the drop down menu then select NTFS and format.
**Removing Pendrive Should Only be done Through : "Safely Remove Hardware "
I don’t recommend using the “performance” option for removable media. Basically it means that data will be cached before finally being written to the drive so the copy dialog from Windows may disappear although the drive isn’t finished with the process yet. Unless you use the safely remove option every time, you may end up unplugging your drive before it’s done resulting in corrupted files or worse, a corrupted file system or drive.

Trick 3 : Loose Down Your BIOS Privilages
Disable Your Bios Legacy USB Support:
*Enter BIOS
*Switch to Advance
*Move to Legacy Support and turn it Disabled.

*Restart

Trick 4 : Upgrade your Device Drivers if Provided by Brand Vendors.

Trick 5 : Live The Modern Technology :
Upgrade From USB 2.0 to USB 3.0 or Higher available
Upgrade Operating System.
Upgrade System.
